Missing Three Sherpas in Mount Everest



Kathmandu. Professional three Sherpa guides missing in an avalanche on the foot of Mt. Everest on April 12 in Khumbu Region of Nepal, they are also known as icefall of doctor, hardly to improvement to find out buried in spite of continues to searching and rescue effort.

Nevertheless, according to statement issued by the Department of Tourism, the air and land search  and rescue operations have continued in coordination with Local Adminstration, Himalayan Rescue Association, Imagine Nepal Trek and Expedition and Expedition Operation association of Nepal and Mount Sagarmatha Pollution Control Committee.

The Sherpas have been identified in which are Dachhiri Sherpa, Pemba Tenjing Sherpa and Lakpa Rita Sherpa, they were clearing the route leading to summit of the Mount Everest of tallest of world 8848 meters height, three of them from Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality -5, were deployed from Imagine Nepal Trek and Expedition Private Limited, Nepal.

According to the Tourism Department, with the spring season, the clearance of the climbing route leading of submit Mount Everest is ongoing and in this construction process, the construction of the trail up to Camp 2 has been over and according to the Department, a total of 197 climbers of 20 groups has taken permit to scale Mount Everest in this season in which belonging of 31 women and 166 men.
